From a Culinary Standpoint, Membership has its Rewards
 
   

The University Club is one of Santa Barbara's most prominent private Clubs. Steeped in distinction dating back to the 1910's, the Club is home-away-from-home for distinguished locals from judges to doctors to financiers; but it's also home to some of the area's hottest young chefs.

Executive Chef Harley Hall, serves the University Club members lunch every weekday, "Bistro Dinner" on Friday nights and an assortment of themed dinners, like luaus, murder-mystery dinners and wine-maker dinners, throughout the year.

Food & Beverage Manager & Sommelier, Katie Osberg, leads the front-of-the-house with sophistication, style and an attention-to-detail that consistently creates a memorable dining experience.

The duo also leads ongoing members-only cooking classes and wine tastings, where they share their knowledge and passions with the Club members.

This is a collaborative creative team that is able to create both the classic meals that private Clubs are famous for and the more interesting, cutting-edge dining that keep the member's coming back.
